Wouter Geldhof's practice mainly constitutes of assisting clients in contractual and regulatory matters in energy law including  a.o. electricity and gas (supply) contracts, CO₂ emission trading, Kyoto flexible mechanisms and ERPA's, exemptions for major new energy infrastructure, construction and grid connection of power generation plants, electricity and gas market transparency issues, renewable energy projects (on-shore and off-shore wind turbines, solar, CHP). He also advises and represents clients in major industrial and infrastructure projects.

 

From 2000 to 2002, Wouter Geldhof was a part time faculty assistant at the Centrum voor Verbintenissenrecht UGent.

Moreover, he has written various publications and regularly speaks at conferences both on energy law and contract law (e.g. about the liberalisation of the energy market, renewable energy projects and emission trading, general contract law, etc.).
