Jan Bouckaert is the partner responsible for the firm's Planning & Environment practice group. He concentrates on areas of law concerning protection of the environment in the broad sense of the term.

 

Hence, he practices European and international environmental law, Belgian environmental law, zoning and planning, nuclear law, expropriation. He also deals with cases concerning human rights (ECHR), constitutional and administrative law. He represents clients, both in the public and private sector, involved in litigation and negotiations. Jan is highly experienced in drafting laws and regulatory texts for public authorities in Belgium.
